Have you seen the term "GPT" but you don't know what it means? It simply stands for Get Paid To. GPT sites pay you to complete offers such as surveys, freebies and trial offers. Some of these sites will even pay you to read emails, click on internet ads, shop and/or play games.
If you don't want to do trial offers, I highly recommend completing the survey or freebie offers. However, if you want to make more money, you can do the trial offers. I have not done any trial offers yet but am planning on trying a few of them soon.
A lot of the GPT sites offer sign-up bonuses, great referral programs and other special offers. They also have daily or weekly competitions that will give you a chance to make some extra money or win prizes.
What GPT sites should I sign up for?
Check out the next page, "GREAT GPT SITES." These are the sites that I have done well with so far. I am planning on adding a few more shortly after I make sure they are really legit.
How will I get paid?
All GPT sites have different payment methods and minimum payout amounts, some ranging from $2 to $20. Once you reach the minimum payout amount, most of them will pay you through your VERIFIED paypal account, check, or money order. Some of these sites will pay you right away while others will pay you the next month.
In addition to making money on some of these sites, you can earn points which can be redeemed for money, gift cards, prizes, or allow you to upgrade your account so you can get more referrals.
Are all GPT sites legit?
There are some GPT sites out there that are considered to be scams. Some fail to pay people when they will, delete your account due to "fraud", etc. Fortunately, I have not come across one of them yet. I am currently testing a few "new" GPT sites and if they do end up being legit, I will post them. Since a lot of us don't have time to waste, I will NEVER post GPT sites that are not legit.
What are some helpful hints for making more money on these sites?
• A lot of GPT sites have the same offers. I recommend that before you do an offer, see how much it will pay you on the other GPT sites you are on. If one GPT site pays more for that offer, then do it on that site so you can make some extra money. This goes for the freebies and trial offers. You should REALLY do this for the trial offers because some will pay $10 extra for the same offer.
• Try to get referrals. You will get a small percentage of what they make but it will add up.
• Check out the special promotions for the GPT sites you are on. Some of them have special promotions where they will give you a 25-50% bonus for the earnings you earned that day, double your points, or pay you a certain amount of money if you complete a specified number of offers. All of these special promotions will vary on each site.
• Keep a list of the offers you have completed in either Word or Excel. This way you'll be able to search an offer to see if you have already done it before attempting to fill it out again.
• Do not complete a ton of offers on one site at the same time because they probably will not go through. Do a few at a time and as they are approved or completed, then do another offer.
Before you get started, there are a few things that you need to know (aka...the fine print). Also read the helpful hints page to help make some extra money.
• Once you complete an offer on one GPT site, you can not complete that offer again on another site. This is considered fraud and if you constantly complete the same offers on different sites, your account may end up getting terminated and you will not get paid. Also make sure that you use valid contact information.
• Most sites recommend you use Internet Explorer, not Firefox or any other type of internet browser.
• Most sites do not allow proxy servers such as AOL. They will also allow only one account per household.
• GPT sites make money when you do. A lot of these sites have tutorials about how to complete offers. I highly recommend that you read them before you get started.
• Not all offers will credit. Some advertisers will credit better than others. A lot of offers will complete right away or a day or two after you complete it. However, some offers take up to a week to credit. If you completed an offer a week ago and it still hasn't credited, you can delete it from your pending folder and try to submit it again. GG offers and CPC offers are hard to get credited for. I have never had luck with these offers, but some people have. It can't hurt to try them.
• Do not complete a whole bunch of offers that are from the same advertiser at one time. If you do, you will probably only get credited for some of them. You will have more offers credited if you complete different offers from different advertisers.
• Clear your cookies, clear your cookies, clear your cookies!
• And most importantly....you will need to turn off your pop-up blocker and change your privacy setting to allow all cookies. This is very important because you'll be more likely to have an offer approved.
If you follow these simple instructions below, you will more than likely be successful with making money on these sites. Some of these steps are optional, but I highly recommend them because you'll get more offers approved and it will save you a lot of time.
• Download CCleaner. You can complete offers without downloading this program, but CCleaner will help ensure that you have cleared out all of your temporary internet files and cookies. This program is free.
Turn off your pop-up blocker and allow all cookies. Go to tools, internet options, and then select the privacy tab. Again, this is very important because if you don't do it, the offers probably won't credit.
Before I get started with how to read offers, I recommend that you read the tutorial/how-to section on the GPT site you are on. They will pretty much say the same thing that I said, but they may make it easier to understand.
1. Turn off your pop-up blocker and accept all cookies. Then clear out your cookies a couple of times, either by using CCleaner or going to Tools and delete browsing history.
2. Click on an offer you would like to complete.
3. Fill out the offer. If it is just an email submit, put the email address you want to use. Make sure you copy the email address that you use because you'll need it for the next step. A lot of people recommend that you fill out the second page, but that's optional for these types of offer. If the offer says that you must complete registration, then do so. As you fill out the offer, you will get pop-ups. It is okay to close these, but don't close the main page that you are filling out. You can use Roboform to help complete the offer. Selecting alt & = at the same time will automatically select no for all of the offers!
4. Leave the offer page open for a couple of minutes to make sure the offer went through after you have completed an offer.
5. Go back to the GPT site and then enter the email address you used, zip code you used, or user ID. Most of the time, it will be your email address that you used to complete the offer. Then hit submit. Sometimes you will just have to hit the "Mark as Pending" button and not have to enter your email address. These offers typically get approved quicker because the advertiser approves the offer, not the GPT site.
6. Close the offer you just completed and clear out your cookies several times.
Then repeat!
